ARE YOU TOO BUSY TO ENJOY LIFE?

For most of us today, the answer would be Yes. The result of our incessant pushing ourselves is not a well-rounded person, but one who is not able to relax. Such a person is aggressive, intolerant and harried. He tries so hard to make a good living that he forgets to live. He cannot enjoy life to its fullest extent. Where is the time man, becomes his favorite phrase. He has no time to live, fully live. How hectic our lives are? Some of us are actually numbed by it! Do you think by only using the awesome products available today, from beauty to all the electronic gadgets and what not, can make us happy? Never! The most important thing in life is our health friends!

Look at the pace of life in a city—rush, rush and more rush to do more things in as short a time as possible, the traffic jams which lead to frayed nerves are part and parcel of city living. Everything becomes fast, one cannot cope, cannot meet the deadline. Faster, faster..maybe one will be dead faster too. What is the use if we cannot savour the true taste of life. Maybe we can learn something from William Henry Davies’ immortal lines..What is this life if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare?

In this day and age, most of us know the benefits of keeping fit. Our work normally does not involve hard physical labour. So, many of us lack exercise and not knowing the importance of fitness equipments like exercise bikes, kettlebells, treadmills, elliptical trainer. The consequence of not getting enough exercise is frightening. On the mildest scale we may simply grow fat. On a more ominous scale, we may develop all sorts of ailments. So, we must exercise with exercise equipments such as spin bike, cross trainer, boxing equipment, weight plates. If you desire to do something beneficial for your body, you must exercise regularly. The benefits of keeping fit are many. Regular exercise keeps us healthy. Most of us will agree whole-heartedly that “Health is Wealth.” If a person is not healthy than he or she will find it very difficult or even impossible to enjoy life, even though very rich.

If you are asked to choose between the two, what would you prefer, health without wealth, or wealth without health?  Surely, health without wealth..ohh and don’t be smart enough to say…health WITH wealth…hmmm everyone in the world would like that. There is doubt. It is ridiculous to have too much material wealth but being unable to enjoy it. What is the use of money when one has to take too much of medicine every day? How can one enjoy life when one’s body is weakened by disease and pain. You must take good care of yourself to stay fit and healthy doing good exercise with many commercial gym or home gym equipments like recumbent bikes, elliptical trainer etc. With health you can go to your work with joy. If you are rich then that is fine. Even if not , but healthy and fit, you can enjoy and will be able to work harder towards fulfilling your goals. Eat delicious things without worrying and appreciate the things of the beautiful Earth.

This is indeed wealth…to be happy and joyous.
